Fabhotel The Lavish Villa

The hygiene was the worst part of our stay. There was dust and dirt around the room, mold and mildew in the bathroom, and stains on the bed linens and towels that made them look unwashed. The hotel is in a noisy area, so we struggled to sleep, and things happening nearby made us feel unsafe with the kids. From the moment we arrived, it didn’t feel suitable for families. We were very uncomfortable and will choose somewhere else next time. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially to families.

The room smelled awful, the sheets were torn and stained, and there were mosquitoes and reptiles in the bathroom. The AC didn’t work, and they wouldn’t run the generator to save money, so we spent the whole night in a damp room and couldn’t sleep. They may offer a low price, but this was honestly the worst experience. I’m describing the actual state of the room, not writing a review in exchange for money.

There was no power for five of the eight hours we stayed, and there was no backup. After I complained to fab hotel, the power came back for just one hour. The staff looked like local goons, smoking bidi in the lobby and walking around shirtless. The rooms were dirty, with a smell like a public toilet, black patches on the floor, and dirt on the bed. Don’t check in without seeing the room first, even if you booked online by mistake or it’s raining outside. This is the shadiest hotel. I suspect the positive reviews are paid for or posted by hotel staff, which may explain all the 5/5 ratings.

The pictures don’t match what you get. The room was awful, the washroom was dirty, and there were beer marks on the table and cigarette butts in the bathroom. Staff were rude, and the cleaner spoke as if he owned the hotel. Someone even tried to walk into my room without knocking or asking. Worst experience.
