I stayed in Gurgaon for a day with my husband. The room was decent and the staff seemed polite at first, but the food situation made the experience extremely unpleasant. We were told we could not order from outside and had to eat at the in-house restaurant. That restriction had not been made clear when we booked, and it felt unreasonable, especially for such a short stay. Guests should be able to choose their food. We ordered simple things, pakoda and dal chawal, but the oil seemed stale or very poor quality. That night and the next day, both of us became very unwell. My husband had a severe food infection, while I had intense stomach pain and nausea, plus a horrible aftertaste that lasted for days. Three days later I was still weak and uncomfortable. Being made to rely on the restaurant when the food caused us these problems was distressing. Food safety and guests’ well-being should matter. I’m not comfortable going back, and management should rethink this policy and improve the food.

The rooms were clean and tidy, though small, with basic amenities and nothing especially impressive. They were slightly above average, but ventilation was poor. I had to leave the balcony door open for air, which could be uncomfortable at night. The food was good quality, but unreasonably expensive, and outside food was not allowed while the kitchen was open. They might make an exception once or twice if you complain, but the same issue comes up again. During my two days here, the management and staff felt cold and unwelcoming from check-in through check-out. They need to work on humility and social skills, and reception staff need training in how to deal with guests. That applies whatever room category you book.

The welcome at check-in was smooth, too. The hotel is close to 32nd Avenue, so getting to restaurants, cafes, and nightlife was easy, while the property itself stayed quiet and peaceful. My spacious, well-designed room was spotless, and the comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. The care taken with hygiene and upkeep was clear. For the location, accommodation, and service, it felt like good value. I’d happily make it my go-to hotel in the area.
