The room stank and looked neglected, and the beds and mattresses were stained and dirty, not fit to sleep on. When I asked for the torn bed cover to be replaced, the staff argued about the dirt instead of fixing it. We had to keep asking for toilet paper and drinking water. The paper they eventually gave us was half used and seemed recycled, while drinking water came from tap water in a dirty bottle. The service was dismissive throughout, and the receptionist was rude and indifferent. Even with relatives nearby, we were left to manage on our own, and it took repeated calls from them to get any response from OYO Meghna Residency. We paid 1500 INR a night, 3000 INR for two nights, for poor accommodation and service. We ended up here after another hotel cancelled at the last minute because we didn't have an Aadhar card, which seemed a baffling requirement for tourists. At check-in, I provided several forms of identification, including my license, marriage certificate, and passport, but the process still wasn't smooth. The hotel seemed deserted, with no other guests around during our stay. We were there for two nights, and the conditions, careless service, and questionable costs made it a nightmare. I'd urge people visiting India to stay somewhere else.

Mr vinod Tanwar's attitude and behaviour are holding this hotel back. Customers won't return, and there'll be no growth or more staff. The rooms will stay dirty. You may be rich, owner, but you can't manage your attitude, so hire staff who treat people with respect. If you can't afford staff, stop putting on a fake rich attitude. Hospitality is about humility, not attitude. If you're educated, I recommend never visiting.

The receptionist was incredibly rude and didn't know how to speak to a customer. I had already paid for my booking, but he flatly refused to give me a room. I told him I was exhausted and just needed some sleep, but he told me to cancel the booking and make one there in front of him. I don't know why anyone lets him handle the entrance. I ended up finding another hotel, chaupal sector 14, and it was amazing with good staff. A screenshot also shows my booking there...

The owner was very rude and refused to let us check in. He said a room would cost Rs 2000 per night, even though Oyo listed it for Rs 1200. The property doesn’t seem to be officially listed on Oyo.

Rooms were dirty and the blankets hadn’t been washed. There was no service, parking on the road didn’t feel safe, and the price was way too high. People in other rooms kept drinking and shouting. Go at your own risk.
