OYO Rooms Near Galleria Market

The room I eventually saw was extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and below even basic standards. This whole visit was a waste of time and money, and I’d avoid the hotel. I paid online as the receptionist requested, but staff then refused check-in because they said the booking amount was too low. They told me to complain to support and said I could check in only after receiving an updated payment from them. I contacted support, and even after the payment was processed, I was kept waiting unnecessarily for 20-25 minutes with no cooperation. Taking payment and then denying service felt fraudulent. If the hotel won’t honor online bookings, it shouldn’t be listed online. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

Being close to Galleria Market was convenient, but the stay was far below expectations. I booked online for 750 rupees and checked in at 11PM. The place looked old, with faded paint and blinking lights, and there was no lift, just stairs. Cockroaches were in both the room and bathroom. The bathroom had only handwash, with no mirror or other essentials. My room smelled unpleasant, the sheets and pillows didn’t feel fresh, and the poorly maintained almirah was cramped and had no handles. The staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I felt uneasy at this property. There were a lot of women I found questionable, and men were coming in. When I complained, the front office guy said he wasn’t even scared of OYO management. Please don’t go here.

The room was in such bad shape: only one switch worked, the AC didn’t cool, the lights weren’t working, it was unclean and smelled bad. The staff weren’t supportive either. I’ve attached a few pictures, so please take a look. Ignore this place if you book through OYO, because they’ll treat you badly, while they provide a good room for offline bookings. I’d have shown some other problems too, but there’s no option to upload a video.
