The hotel is isolated, with no shops or restaurants within 3 km, so getting food is a hassle unless you order online or travel a distance by cab. There was no lift, room service, or intercom for reception, and even towels and soap weren't provided. Mosquitoes in the room made it uncomfortable too. We stayed four days after booking through the OYO app. On arrival they showed us a basement room and called it “classic,” then asked for an extra Rs. 300 per day to move us upstairs. The app didn't mention room categories, but with my family along we felt we had to pay for the “premium” room. No one came to clean or empty the bins despite several requests. I eventually put the bin outside because of the smell. There was only one elderly staff member around, and he seemed more interested in asking for extra money than helping. I wouldn't recommend this place to families or solo travelers.

The location worked for me since it was close to my office, and the price was reasonable. The basement room was a decent size, though the bathroom was tiny and had no exhaust. It smelled strongly of fragrance on the first day, then on the second I noticed a foul odor in the room as soon as I switched on the exhaust. There were mosquitoes, though they mattered less in winter. No spare quilt, which made the cold hard to handle.

They took 500 as an advance for the booking, then gave me a different room after first offering a stinking basement one. The bedsheets and pillows in the other room had lipstick marks and other stains. The western toilet moved when I sat on it because it wasn't fixed to the floor, and the bucket and mug looked like they'd come from a garbage pile. Unhygienic and unsafe, one of the worst experiences I've had. I wouldn't go even if they offered a free stay.

I couldn't sleep because someone outside my room kept walking around, shouting, and calling people by name. Staff behavior wasn't good either. This felt more like a very low-grade PG than a hotel. They never mentioned that cell phones get no signal in the basement room. The inverter didn't work properly, so the power kept fluctuating and the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting, making it impossible to work online from Tipsyy 015 hotel. I didn't like anything about the place.
