Hotel Sreepathy Indraprastha

The Anil Ambiswami Restaurant served tasty food at affordable prices. We had two standard AC rooms, both clean and well kept, with working AC, TV, electric kettle, and water heater. They provided packaged drinking water and tea bags at no charge. It was very quiet, and the rooms were almost soundproof. The connecting door between them made it easy for our family to stay together. We really enjoyed the experience.

Room service staff were generous, but I had to wait a couple of hours or more to get them. The reception team were pathetic when we asked about room service or other perks, and their attitude changed after we boarded the room. Rooms are above average, and the washrooms are near. The bed was okayish and not that clean. Don’t expect above-average customer service or satisfaction, though it should suffice for a quick stay.

I felt safe staying here alone for the first time in a hotel in Guruvayur. I was unwell and needed a room urgently, but check-in wasn’t until 3. Once I told the kind receptionists how I was feeling, they arranged a room within 20 minutes. Thanks to both sisters. I checked out at 5 am the next day, and when the male receptionist heard I was leaving for the station, he immediately asked the hotel’s driver to take me there safely. The driver was very well behaved too. I really appreciate the people and their service. The room was beautiful, and the whole experience was 5/5.

We had two connecting rooms for our two families, which was very convenient. Although check-in officially starts at 3 PM, we arrived at 1 PM and were happily allowed in early. The rooms at Sreepathi Indraprastha Hotel were clean and fine for the price. It’s close to Mammiyur Temple and just 1 km from Guruvayur Temple, with car parking and a lift. The complimentary breakfast we paid for wasn’t up to the mark. Luckily, the ground-floor restaurant serves tasty lunch, dinner, and tea, so food wasn’t an issue. We were satisfied with the stay and would recommend it as a good budget option for families visiting Guruvayur.
