Lilac Hotel Guruvayur

Chef Dileep made a point of adapting the food to our satvik dietary needs. He also served us a club sandwich and his signature fusion dessert, ghee payasam with ice cream. The lunch thali was especially delicious, and steward Abhinandh took extra care with our requirements. Jorbin and Jinnish were gracious at the restaurant, too. The food and ambience were lovely. The hotel’s strongest point was the people. General Manager Mr. Renjith and Accommodation Manager Mr. Bipin did a lot to make our stay pleasant, and their friendly, positive approach stood out. Ebin and the housekeeping team were courteous as well. At the front desk, Jithin, Shruthi, Anusree, Hari, and Shibin welcomed my family warmly. When we first entered Lilac Guruvayur, seeing the sacred Vedic Scripture Shrimad Bhagavad Gita touched our hearts. It was our first visit, and I’d recommend this as one of the best hotels in Guruvayur.

After looking for a good place to stay in Guruvayoor for years, I’ve finally found one. The rooms were very clean, and everyone on staff was professional and respectful. Sibil and Abinadh from the food service team deserve a special mention for their great service. I didn’t catch the other staff members’ names, but the whole team was excellent. I’ll be recommending this hotel to others.

Breakfast had lots of tasty choices, and lunch was really good too. We came to Guruvayur for Appan darshan after driving from Kodaikanal, reaching the hotel around 1:30 pm. Our reserved room was ready without delay, and it was spacious, neat, and clean. After darshan we came back and rested comfortably. The bed linen and room upkeep were excellent. The shower pressure was quite low, which could be improved. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay and good value for money. I’d recommend it to people visiting Guruvayur.

The stay was worth every penny, from the rooms and buffet to the food and ambience. Everything went smoothly from booking through checkout at lilac guruvayoor. Staff across the hotel, including the security personnel at the entrance, were highly professional, and the service and room service were excellent. The rooms and washrooms were spotless, and housekeeping was always reachable when we called. I’d highly recommend staying at lilac for a Guruvayoor visit.
