It's a quiet, simple place in Paltanbazar, close to the center but far enough from the bustle. The staff are quick to respond, water is available throughout, and the rooms are kept in pretty good condition. An AC room is around 2k, depending on how well you bargain. There's no food here, so you'll need to eat outside. Still, a nice affordable stay with family.

There are lots of restaurants around, though the hotel doesn't currently serve food. Staff behavior was good and the place was clean. A non-AC room gets hot in summer, but there's enough space for two people.

I keep choosing this place when I get to Guwhati. The rooms are all A-grade and the rates are affordable. There's no food service, but being right in the city core makes that manageable.
