Hotel Zen Garden

I booked this hotel to be near Khanapara Vet Ground for Post Malone’s concert, and the location worked really well. The room was small, though, and the pillows and mattress made for a miserable night. The service staff were cordial and apologized, but there wasn’t anything they could do about the bedding.

The staff were polite, and the location was good, but the room needs work. Mine was damp and had a noticeable smell, and it felt cramped. The locks were hard to open and close, and the bedsheet wasn’t warm enough for winter. Outside food isn’t allowed, and their services aren’t available in the morning, which was inconvenient. An average stay with plenty of room for improvement.

There was plenty of hot water in the shower, and the location was good. The rooms were far too small and smelled bad, with cockroaches and mosquitoes around. The washroom was tiny and poorly ventilated. For the price, this was a really bad experience. They say food ordered through apps isn’t allowed, but the kitchen barely works. Before 8:30 in the morning you can’t even get a cup of tea, and at night much of the in house menu isn’t available. If you’re hungry and want to order through an app, you have to “seek permission” from management. Disgusting.

The staff were good, and the location was convenient. But the rooms were too small and smelled bad. The bathroom was unusually cramped, with no room even for toiletries, and it had no exhaust fan. Without the AC, it was suffocating. Overall, not a good hotel.
