The rooms were properly maintained, with the facilities working, and the washroom was very clean. Staff were helpful and the hotel was a good choice for devotees. Best of all, East Nada Guruvayoor temple is close enough to reach on foot.

We had a good stay and would come back. The staff were pleasant, and the rooms were clean and worked well. They supplied soap and fresh towels. There’s an attached vegetarian restaurant using organic vegetables and coconut oil from their own farms. Prices were about standard for a place of this size, and the hotel is quite close to the main temple.

The restaurant was a real highlight. Vasantha Bhavan is right beside the hotel entrance in the same building, and the Kerala meals had a delicious homemade taste. Everything served on banana leaf was tasty, the prices were very reasonable, and they’ll bring food to your room at Shree Bhadra residency. It opens at 6.30 AM, and you can eat there even if you’re not staying at the hotel. Getting to the temple is easy: East nada is about a two-minute walk, and the marriage podiums there and Melpathur Auditorium are roughly five minutes away. From my second-floor room I could see the temple goopuram. The room was spacious, comfortable, neat, and well maintained, with a king size bed and lift access. Reception and room service staff were courteous and helpful. A friend recommended the place, and I’d recommend Shree Bhadra residency too. It was good value for money.

For this budget, the location is excellent. Cross the road and the pathway to the mandap is right there, which is handy in sunny or rainy weather. It’s also easy to find an auto to other locations. The bathrooms are clean, though the mould could be dealt with better.
