The staff were friendly and polite, and parking seemed to be properly available. The rest of the stay was a complete flop for our group of four, who booked two rooms for one night. This hotel is some distance from Guruvayur temple, not an easy walk for elders or children. There’s an autorickshaw stand and bus stop opposite, but autos and buses aren’t available late at night or early in the morning, making an early temple visit inconvenient. The building is old, and the rooms and bathrooms weren’t neat or maintained like the photos. There was no hot water, a serious drawback in the cold weather before early morning temple visits. The rooms had no proper charging sockets, and the AC remote didn’t work. There’s no lift, which made things uncomfortable with elders in our group. Nearby food choices, especially vegetarian ones, are very limited, so we had to go all the way toward the Guruvayur temple area for meals. We booked through Agoda, but couldn’t contact the hotel directly. The phone numbers listed on both Google and Agoda were out of service. Guests need a working way to ask about details such as early check-in or check-out, so the hotel should update its contact information. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially to families or elderly guests.

The room smelled awful and was covered in dust. The bathroom was terrible, a 0/10 for cleanliness. We paid about 1350 rs for the day, but checked out after four hours because of the condition. Honestly, a local lodge would be better. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Guruvayoor, don’t choose this property.

Super Hotel O East Nada and Hotel RV Regency are the same place, which could be confusing. It’s easy to find, near 'gokulam rooms and restaurant', and about 500 meters from the railway station. Guruvayur Temple is around 1 km away if you cross the railway tracks. It’s an older, large property with traditional furniture, tiles, and flooring. The rooms are spacious and have AC, a small dining table, and chairs, so they work well for solo travelers. Bathrooms are basic, but there’s plenty of room. Roadside rooms may get traffic noise that could disturb sleep. There’s no restaurant on site, though nearby places serve morning coffee and tea. With friendly, helpful management and staff, the affordable price for a spacious AC room in town is good value.

Ants were crawling over the rooms and walls, and the staff said little could be done unless the owner decided to renovate. That added hygiene concerns to an already frustrating stay. We booked three rooms for two days despite seeing a few negative reviews, and problems started almost at once. There’s no lift, and the rooms were small, old, poorly maintained, with paint peeling from the walls. Electricity was the main problem. The first night there was no power. One room had neither fan nor AC, another had only AC, and the third only a fan. After several requests, an electrician was called the next morning around 10 AM. The front desk staff member was cooperative, but seemed to have very little control. He mentioned moving us to another floor if the electricity didn’t come back. Since multiple earlier reviews mentioned power issues, it felt like this could be recurring or ignored. A very disappointing stay. I’m definitely not booking again.
