Atithi Hotel - Guwahati

I booked at the last minute after IndiGo cancelled my flight, and chose the hotel mostly based on its ratings. The stay ended up being a pleasant surprise. Abhishek at the front desk deserves a mention for being proactive and very helpful, making check-in and the rest of the stay smooth during a stressful time. The hotel is well maintained, with a spacious room and an even bigger bathroom. It's very central and well connected, though the bustling neighborhood may not suit people looking for quiet. Breakfast had a decent range, but the taste could be better. Comfortable and reliable for a short or unplanned trip, and I'd recommend it.

The restaurant was a highlight: the food was excellent, and Nur Mohamad, Sourav Roy, and Baby Das were courteous, attentive, and made sure we felt looked after. We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Atithi near Guwahati Railway Station. After a long journey, check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Our room was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and luxurious, and the breakfast spread had fresh, tasty choices. The hotel offers comfort, good food, and warm hospitality, and I'd recommend it to visitors to Guwahati, especially for its location and service.

I've been staying here for nearly a decade, mostly on business trips whenever I'm in the city. The location is perfect, and the breakfast spread is very good. What really stands out is how the staff treat you. The front desk team, including Ranjita, Amar, and everyone else, are welcoming from arrival right through checkout. I'd suggest giving this hotel a try for a pleasant stay.

The room size was decent, the place was neat and clean, and the location was excellent. Staff were very cooperative, and breakfast was the best. There’s an in-house bar, while the rooftop bar wasn't operating during my stay. I’d have given five stars, but the room had a stinky smell day and night and there was no exhaust. Everything else was awesome.
