CAPITAL O 10292 Niharika Guest House

The room itself was okay, and the service was good, but basic hygiene was lacking. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was dust on the floor, and the sheets looked dirty. Maintenance was very poor.

The room was dusty and the bathroom was dirty. We were given the only room on the fourth floor, next to the kitchen, where the noise continued until 1 a.m. and started up again at 5 a.m. When we asked to switch rooms, we were told none were available and assured the noise would stop by 11 p.m. They should tell guests in advance that the room is next to a kitchen. It was a very unpleasant stay.

Getting around was easy because of the central location and good connections to key areas, whether travelling for work, leisure, or healthcare. Even so, the hotel was peaceful. The rooms were spacious, elegantly designed, and equipped with modern amenities, and the stay felt premium for a reasonable price. Staff were warm and professional and took care of the details. It offers good value, comfort, and convenience, and I’d recommend it to business and leisure travellers.

Just outside, there are rickshaws and buses to most major places in Guwahati, and Paltan Bazar is very close. The rooms were spacious and clean. The washrooms were okay too.
