S River Resorts

The staff at S River Resorts made sure our small family gathering stayed private and comfortable, and that my father-in-law was looked after and made to feel special. We were there to celebrate his 93rd birthday in Karumalloor, with just close family, and it became a really touching, memorable occasion. The evening was peaceful, with the Periyar River in view, a gentle breeze, and greenery all around. The Kerala-style sadya was authentic and delicious. We also arranged Chicken Kondattam, Tava Fish Fry, and Shrimp Roast, all fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Those dishes made a lovely addition to the traditional vegetarian feast. It was a simple but elegant celebration, with great food and warm hospitality. We’re grateful to the team for helping create such cherished memories. I’d highly recommend it for intimate family celebrations.

After a long flight, we loved sitting by the river and listening to the birds. It’s a peaceful little boutique resort right by the water. I think there are only ten rooms, and they’re modern, clean, and well air-conditioned. The staff are friendly, and dinner was great. Highly recommend!

Sagar and his team were warm, attentive, and genuinely receptive. The service made for great hospitality, and the rooms were comfortable. It’s a wonderfully peaceful, serene place for a getaway. The food was good, though some menu items seemed a bit overpriced. One thing to know is that the property gets extremely dark at night because there’s no path lighting. Moving around can be inconvenient and a bit unsafe. I’d like to see that addressed.

The food was delicious and had a real homely touch. Staff were courteous and attentive, and the calm, refreshing ambiance made my one-night stay at Sriver Resort comfortable. A peaceful spot with tasty food and pleasant service, well worth a visit.
