I couldn't check in until ixigo stepped in and agreed to pay the extra amount they were demanding. I had booked an AC room, with breakfast marked prepaid, for INR 1039. At the hotel, the receptionist asked for another INR 500 just to let me into the room and wouldn't accept that breakfast was included. When I asked about the difference from the ixigo price, they said they don't give rooms at “OYO rates.” The receptionist's behavior felt unprofessional and unethical, and I felt they were trying to make money dishonestly. The hospitality was unacceptable. It seemed to me that they take advantage of couple-friendly bookings, assuming those guests will pay whatever is demanded. I had booked just for myself, but they still tried the same thing. This experience felt like a deliberate scam to extort guests. I'd tell potential guests to avoid the place because of the deceptive pricing, predatory behavior, and disgraceful service.

At the hotel, they quoted 2000 for a non-AC room and 2700 for an AC one, even though OYO showed an AC room at 1200*2. They refused to check us in because we'd booked through OYO and said we had to book offline instead. They also said the property wasn't tied up with OYO. If that's the case, why keep it listed there? They know how to misuse OYO's name and cheat people out of their hard-earned money. Worst experience. @oyo, please look into hotels like this and take action. Fraud management.

Everyone else coming in seemed to run into the same issue. If you're heading here, be ready to pay more than the amount shown on any platform. They say Rs.1500 is the minimum, so plan for that, and check other options before you arrive. The hotel itself is good, but this extra charge really wasn't what I expected.
