Collection O 17304 Ransu Residency

A decent, nice hotel, with a spacious room that feels premium while still being very budget friendly.

The rooms are clean, with AC and a centralized geyser. Food was average, and I’ve uploaded a photo of the menu with prices. If you choose complimentary breakfast, you can pick one food item and either tea or coffee. Room service can take at least 10-15 minutes longer depending on when you order, so order early if you want it on time. The property is a little inside a lane near Guwahati Railway Station. From the Paltan Bazar exit, it’s close, and no vehicle should charge more than Rs. 100. Finding the entrance can be confusing: ask someone, because there’s no direct front entrance. The entry is at the back, while the front has two restaurants owned by someone else.

I liked the friendly, attentive staff and the delicious complimentary breakfast at Ransu Residency. The room was spacious and had modern amenities, and free wifi was a nice extra. I had a great stay in Guwahati and would highly recommend the place to visitors.

It’s a cosy hotel with lovely interiors and design, and I felt like I was staying somewhere in the 4-5 star category. I hadn’t seen a small hotel with this kind of facilities before. There are lockers in the almirah, a laptop table, delicious restaurant food, an inbuilt geyser in the toilets, car parking, and a lift. The staff were good too. Awesome hospitality, I’d give it 100 🌟.
