The power cuts were the worst part. After dinner, around midnight or 1, the electricity went out in our room. It came back after nearly an hour, then went off again about half an hour later. We were left without power until around 4 am, sweating and swatting mosquitoes for hours. The rest of the hotel seemed to have electricity. My friend called the OYO helpline 3-4 times, and after OYO apparently contacted the owner, power finally returned to our room at 4:30 am. We had an exam at 9:00 am and had come the day before to rest. Instead, we barely slept. We’d booked online through OYO for ₹950, but at reception they seemed to want us to book directly for 1500-1700 per room. The room was tiny, with a bed too small for two, though we tried to make do for one night. The WiFi never connected. The attached bathroom was dirty, with grass lying around, and there was no soap, handwash, or towel. The location was convenient enough, but I’d rather stay 2km from the exam centre and get some peace. I’m sharing this because I don’t want someone else to end up in the same situation.

The rooms felt unsanitary, and we couldn't feel comfortable or safe staying there. Every room we saw was very dirty, as if they hadn't been cleaned or maintained between guests. The sheets were visibly soiled and smelled awful. A very disappointing stay.

We left because the room was in such poor shape and nothing like the online photos. The hygiene was bad and the sheets were dirty. They asked us to pay before showing the room, then wouldn't refund the money after we saw its condition. Completely unacceptable.

We arrived around 1:00am after a long trip and found three rooms we had booked online still unclean, with dirty sheets and pillows. The bathrooms were filthy too. Staff, especially the girl staying there, were rude and seemed focused only on getting money. When we said we didn't want to stay, they told us to leave, refused a refund, and said to adjust in the dirty room. We eventually had to go out late at night and find another hotel. Looking at the rooms, they seemed to be used for something else. There was no proper management or service, and the price doesn't match the quality.

We had a good two-night stay at lakhi guest house, near the airport. The rooms were clean, the staff were helpful and nice, and the owner personally took care of every requirement.
