Hotel Abhijat By OYO Rooms

We only stayed a few hours before leaving because the place was in such bad shape. The bedsheets and towels were the only things that were neat and clean. The rooms weren't clean, and the washroom tap leaked while the flush box was broken. The food was awful too. Chicken dry fry was listed at 200 bucks on the menu, but when it arrived they charged 300, saying 100 was for packing. We paid, but it was the worst dry fry anyone could ask for. At reception, even after we gave them all our IDs and address, the person kept asking silly things like where we live, our relation, and my bike number. I hated their stares. Oyo rooms, please look into this.

Hospitality was nil and the amenities were below standard. The look they gave us at check-in said enough about why this place deserves one star, to be fair. I wasn't even sure it's an OYO hotel. Three quarters of the earlier reviews were bad, and I hoped management would have fixed things over time, but it was still just like people had described before. A lot needs improving.

This is an Indian cuisine hotel with a variety of Indian dishes. Prices are reasonable and the quality is on par. The area is a very crowded, busy market that connects Nayanpur~Ganeshguri, and finding four-wheeler parking nearby is a challenge. Bike parking usually isn't an issue. Options for cars include Ganeshguri below flyover parking, Ganeshguri GMDA parking next to the patrol pump / gas station on the opposite side, or some GMC-approved space after crossing Dispur hospital. There are other restaurants around to try as well. Don't compare the food's quality or quantity with other restaurants, as each one is different. Have fun.

I stayed there for 12 days. There was no water many times, and I had to go tell them the tank was empty. They didn't bring drinking water on time either, and food was late too. No service, awful staff, and the place was dirty. I suggest everyone stay away. 🙏
