The process was handled efficiently, with no unnecessary delays. The staff were patient, well trained, and supportive the whole way through. The service quality and professionalism exceeded my expectations, and I'd gladly choose this business again.

Guests attending weddings often seemed to be treated like an inconvenience at Hotel Kiranshree Grand. A full-house event puts extra pressure on staff, but management is responsible for planning properly, especially when weddings clearly bring in a large share of the hotel's revenue. The hotel's reputation as one of Guwahati's best wedding venues seems to have encouraged a monopolistic attitude, and the lack of professionalism showed. Basic items such as hand towels, bathroom mats, tea sachet refills, and daily water bottles were missing or arrived only after repeated requests. Staff behaviour and communication were disappointing too. The room-key situation was especially upsetting. Giving duplicate keys to people in the same room seemed to be a hassle for the hotel. In my case, they issued a duplicate to someone I didn't know. After I objected, they deactivated that key, then refused to give me a second key at all. That's unacceptable for a hotel in this category. Some staff, mostly local hires, also seemed uncomfortable or indifferent when serving guests from outside Assam, particularly wedding attendees. Management should address that unpleasant experience. If the hotel keeps acting this way, it could lose customers when better alternatives appear. Promoters hoping to challenge its monopoly should take these issues seriously, because professionalism and respect for guests matter, especially during large weddings. I attended a wedding and stayed for just two days. Everything was perfect, from the room to the events, food, and drinks. I'd love to stay there again for a vacation.

I went with friends for a quiet meal at their peaceful restaurant, opposite the new Guwahati international airport. The decor was simple and graceful, the food delicious, and the service cordial and good. There was adequate parking too.
