The rooms are spacious, so it feels more like being at home than shut into a small hotel room. Most amenities and toiletries are provided. The food is homely, tasty, and reasonably priced. Breakfast isn’t a buffet, though. It follows a limited day-wise menu, and adding cut fruit and juices would make it more satisfying overall.

The rooms are clean and well looked after, and the staff are friendly. The food tastes home-cooked too. ‘Umal homestay’ really lives up to the name ‘Umal’, with a warm, friendly and comfortable feel. I’d highly recommend it and hope to visit again.

The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the home-cooked food was affordable. I’m grateful to the staff, especially Mr.Anup, for their friendly, professional service. They made me feel welcome and went out of their way to meet my needs, which made my stay memorable. Thank you.

It’s tucked on a road off the main road, so the place stays quiet and peaceful. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well maintained. Staff were polite and friendly, doing what they could to make the stay comfortable. The food is reasonably priced and pretty much like homemade food.

The food is the best part for me, it really gives you that home feeling. The rooms are neat and clean, and the staff are gentle and friendly. It’s one of the best affordable hotels in Guwahati.
