The room reeked of cigarette smoke, drainage, and alcohol all mixed together. There were mosquitoes, flies, and other insects too, which made the already unpleasant surroundings even more uncomfortable. It didn’t seem suitable for women or families, and there wasn’t even a sign showing the hotel’s name or identifying the place. When I tried contacting the property after booking through BookMyShow, I was redirected to OYO. On arrival, the area was very dark and had an eerie feel. This deserted, poorly maintained place was one of the most unsatisfactory accommodations I’ve ever experienced, despite having visited many places over the years. It felt unsuitable as a hotel, and the images below make its poor upkeep and appearance clear. I strongly advise against booking. If you’ve already reserved a room, cancel immediately. It isn’t a comfortable place to stay, and no respectable person looking for a comfortable stay would choose it.

The rooms were in poor condition, and both the staff and service were extremely bad. With no generator for backup power, the AC stopped working whenever the electricity went out. The heat and mosquitoes got so bad that we left in the middle of the night and stayed at a friend's place.

At check-in they asked me for an extra Rs. 300, even though I’d already paid the full amount online. It felt like they were trying to get more money out of guests, and I left feeling ripped off. The staff were unprofessional, the service was abysmal, and the room facilities were outdated and not clean. I strongly advise against staying here if you care about your comfort, money, and peace of mind. That kind of deceptive practice is inexcusable.

We booked one deluxe room and paid twice the price shown on the OYO app. The manager told us to register offline to avoid GST tax and the OYO company, so we did. Afterward, when we asked for fresh bedsheets, he insisted they had already been changed. We later realized he had lied because we spent the night itching. The room looked spacious and clean in the website photos, with a large bedroom and bathroom, but it wasn’t that clean in person and didn’t seem to get daily cleaning. An AC fan outside our bedroom made a loud noise all night, and the hotel didn’t seem to care about maintaining it. The manager or owner was rude, arrogant, and mean to customers, as if we had nowhere else to stay. That kind of behavior will hurt the business. This is the worst hotel I’ve been in Beltola, Guwahati. It was our first and last stay, and I wouldn’t refer anyone here. Don’t fall into this trap, friends. I warn others not to stay at this "OYO FLAGSHIP DOVE VILLA" hotel.
