The room was clean, but a bit small, and it felt more like a lodge than a hotel. Ventilation was very poor, and the hot water in my room didn’t work. The TV had the same issue I’ve seen in many OYO and go ibibo bookings lately, with no channels or very few working.

The rooms are spacious, well equipped with modern amenities, and the hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. It has been renamed Hotel Royal Galaxy and has new management.

There’s no in-house restaurant, but there are eateries nearby. I stayed in a spacious deluxe room, just a few minutes’ walk from the metro station. It’s a nice budget hotel in Andheri, on the 3rd floor, so don’t expect too much. A good place for a night or two.

The man handling check-in seemed drunk or high. He tried to charge 21,830/- from my account when the amount due was 2183/-. He’d also forgotten that we gave him a passport as ID and kept asking for ID again. Then he asked for our Visa, even though we’re Indian citizens in India. To show us our room, he opened other guests’ rooms, and we saw one man wake up terrified in his own room. At checkout, the guy didn’t even bother getting up. His name was Raju. I hope I don’t have to hear it again. If I could give a lower rating, I would.
