SPOT ON 30735 Dreamland Guest House

The room had no ceiling fan, just one wall fan in the middle that barely cooled one side. There was no hot water for bathing, and I couldn't find any purified drinking water. The washroom also had a water leak. The nearby area wasn't pleasant either, with lots of fish and meat shops.

I checked out after just 30 minutes and lost my money. The staff were very unprofessional, and most of the time nobody was at reception. The area around it felt bad, with meat and fish shops all over, like a slum in Guwahati. Inside, the bathroom was so dirty I wouldn't step in, and the rooms were filthy and smelled awful. There were no windows for air, which made staying there suffocating. The towels and sheets seemed like they hadn't been washed in decades. The door locks were broken too, which made me question the safety. I wouldn't recommend visiting this hotel.

The area was crowded, with a market and lots of hotels nearby, and it wasn't a pleasant surrounding. At check-in, some mistake meant I stood waiting for nearly half an hour, with nowhere to sit at reception. The bed was basically a long bench joined together, and it was almost broken. Not the best.

I booked through OYO and got about the worst room possible. The room table was broken, and there was a paan stain on the wall. The towel and fans were dirty. The toilet jet spray was broken, just a direct line. Even the soap wasn't the standard OYO soap, and there was no shampoo. Definitely not worth what I paid.
