Urbanica Homestay

The caretaker srimanta was very helpful and took great care of the house. The kitchen is separate from the room, clean, and we were allowed to cook there 😇. It’s a good place for families. The nearby by-lane made things a bit noisy in the evening, but overall it was a good stay 👍

I’ve stayed here many times when visiting Assam, and it’s always been a good experience. The rooms feel cozy and homely, and Gunjan guided us really well and managed the homestay nicely 🥰

I was scared when someone tried to open my door at night, and I checked out at 3 am because there was no serious security. The caretaker was unprofessional and drinking, while music played loudly in another room until 3 am. The rooms were very dirty, the bathroom was awful and too dirty even to pee in, and the whole property was filthy. The photos show beautiful, clean rooms, but they’re fake. Worst stay of my life. I don’t know why people give this place 5 stars.

My parents really enjoyed their stay at urbanica homestay. They were warmly welcomed, felt at peace, and found the home clean and comfortable. The location suited them perfectly, and host manish made sure they had everything they needed. Thanks for making their visit so pleasant. I highly recommend the place.
