I've stayed here usually, and it's been okay for the room category. The staff are well behaved, though breakfast choices were limited. There were no toiletries in the bathroom, and the wardrobe smelled damp. Otherwise, it was an okay stay.

The manager did eventually help me check in, but the reception team were rude and unprofessional. I'd told the manager before booking that I needed an early check-in, yet reception refused and asked for another ₹1500. The first room they gave me hadn't been cleaned and was left open when I got there, so they moved me to another one. I hope the service is more professional next time.

Bikumoni at reception was courteous and very helpful, which made check-in and the stay smooth and comfortable. Promod Vaishya, the bell boy, was polite, quick to help, and supportive with our luggage and requests. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome, and we had a very pleasant visit to Vishwaratna Hotel. Great service, highly recommended 😊

The hotel's location made our last-day gift and souvenir shopping easy, since Fancy Bazaar is a short walk away and the Brahmaputra River is a short ride. Staff helped with local information and guidance for Kamakhya Devi Temple darshan, and we also got to Umananda Temple by ferry. We enjoyed dinner and a lovely karaoke night at the restaurant. The one issue was a machine-like noise in the room at night. I hope the hotel can manage it. Thanks.

We had great service, and the restaurant food tastes superb. The hotel is well located and has a well-stocked bar too. My only downside is the price: the Deluxe rooms are small for the tariff. Still, highly recommended.
