Ashrit Suites by OYO Rooms

I was very disappointed. The staff were rude, and the basic facilities weren't there. They kept turning off the AC through some other connection. I booked two days, but they wouldn't accept the OYO booking even though the hotel is listed there, and charged far too much. Please don't book this place, not even by mistake.

I ended up spending the whole night at Gwalior railway station. I'd booked Ashrit Suites through OYO and paid the 250 booking amount, but when I arrived at 2 a.m. there was nobody at reception to show me a room. A staff boy eventually came and called the owner, who suddenly said the hotel was full. I already had a booking and asked how my room could have been given to someone else. He offered to show me a room at a nearby hotel, but it was pathetic. OYO support didn't help me either.

The location and AC are the only reasons I gave it two stars. The receptionist was unhappy that I'd got a low price through an OYO offer, so he sent me somewhere else, saying it was the same hotel. The room there was filthy, like someone had just cleared out their own room, and the washroom flush didn't work at all. A terrible experience.

They won't take OYO bookings and aren't even willing to talk about it. The staff are rude and don't know how to speak to customers. They keep sending you to another hotel, and that place is awful to stay in.
