Atithi Inn

I stayed here for almost 13 days and was very happy with how the staff treated guests. Manager mr. Pathak was a real gentleman, experienced from working at many named hotels, and professional. The food was hygienically served, pure veg, and very nicely prepared. The hotel is close to the city center and old market, so there’s plenty to do in your free time. The location, service, and food are all great. I didn’t expect this kind of professionalism in gwalior, and the staff were supportive and quick to help.

It’s right in the city center, with DB MALL only about 5 mins away. The food is amazing, and the price is easy on the pocket. Nice hotel and a great location.

Atithi Inn has a local restaurant, ample parking, and sits on a wide road. The menu has plenty of options, though what’s available depends on the time of day. I booked through Make my trip with pay-at-hotel selected, and let them know ahead of time that I’d be checking in late because of my train. Things seemed fine until the app showed my booking as cancelled. I couldn’t get through to Make my trip, so I asked the hotel. They said they were short on rooms and had cancelled it, but assured me it wouldn’t cause any further problem. I also checked whether the price would be higher, and they said I’d pay the amount shown in the app, so I felt reassured. At checkout in the morning, though, they said my bill was 1500 rs. The app price was 990, or 927 after the discount, and they wouldn’t listen when I questioned it. They didn’t give me a receipt either. A pathetic experience all around.

It has three floors, a lift, and well air-conditioned rooms. There’s also a really big hall where social events and seminars are held, and it has a unique name. It’s a good place, right by a jyodhpur kachori branch, so delicious snacks are only about 5 meters away.
