Magpie Inn Hotel & Resort

The location is a little far from the main city markets, and the area is still developing, so you'll need private autos or taxis. Hotel staff arranged them promptly, and special thanks to the reception desk for handling all our requests. Staff across departments were attentive, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel's swimming pool was amazing, and I enjoyed the delicious food and wide choice of dishes in the on-site restaurant. My room at Hotel Magpie Inn was immaculate, nicely decorated, and thoughtfully equipped. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens felt fresh and luxurious, and the room was well maintained. On arrival, the front desk welcomed me warmly and professionally, check-in was seamless, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. I had a wonderful stay from start to finish, felt valued, and will definitely return.

It's a quiet location away from crowds, and the grounds are nice. The hotel rooms and surroundings are clean, pleasant, and relaxing. Staff and the person at reception were friendly and professional. You can get a homely food experience here, and there's a swimming pool too.

The food was excellent, thanks to a kind and accommodating food department. Their efforts were overshadowed by the leadership, whose unprofessional attitude made it hard for staff to act without approval. At a major wedding event I attended, the stage broke on sangeet night and caused a minor accident, though fortunately nobody was seriously hurt. The owner/maintainer refused to take responsibility and argued with the event manager over electricity issues. The ground where food was served stayed dimly lit for the first two days of the 3-day wedding. Decor from an earlier wedding at the resort was reused, and it felt like some parts of the events had been compromised to save on electricity and other costs. I was very disappointed, and strongly advise against choosing this place for a good wedding.

The service at the resort was terrible during the wedding events I attended. The owner is super rude and doesn't know how to talk to people. If you want your event to be a success, I strongly recommend against using this resort.
