The people were helpful throughout, from reception and the restaurant to room service, and they kindly upgraded our rooms when we asked. Inside, the property is good, with a decent breakfast buffet and live counters. Dinner was good too, though it took a long time to arrive. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and comfortable, and there’s a restaurant and swimming pool. There’s no gym, smoking room or balcony room, so smokers have to head outside or up to the terrace. The area around the hotel in Transport Nagar is a real downside. Roads are in rough shape, with construction, muddy puddles during the rainy season, and trucks parked or moving nearby. Mechanic and alcohol shops right beside the property made us feel unsafe stepping out. If the neighborhood doesn’t bother you, it could still work for a city stay, especially if you want to be closer to Gwalior Fort.

The bathroom needs some maintenance: the sliding door was broken, and the shower control didn’t move smoothly. The room itself was clean, and the staff were friendly during our two-day stay at Regenta Place Gwalior in December 2025. Breakfast was fine, but dinner was disappointing. The Veg Manchurian was too salty and didn’t taste good, and the yellow dal had far too much garlic.

We had a birthday dinner here recently, and the atmosphere was lovely. Neeraj looked after us throughout the meal, and Manager Dheeraj was supportive and made sure everything went smoothly. The service was top-notch and the food was absolutely delicious. I’d highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal and excellent service.

The restaurant was good, with tasty, filling food and generous portions. The rooms are what you’d expect from a regular 3-star property, and the location itself isn’t that great. For the area, it’s a good property.
