The Royal Class Hotel

Royal Class Hotel, Gwalior was good value for money and suited a peaceful stay. The location was convenient, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were polite and helpful. I had a pleasant stay.

The facilities felt like those of a five-star hotel. The only issue was the bottled water: they initially provided just one litre per day, though they would bring extra bottles after I asked.

The room wasn’t ready even though I arrived at the scheduled check-in time. Bookings seemed poorly managed, and the staff didn’t handle the problem professionally or tell guests in advance that they’d have to wait. There was no accountability. Very disappointing experience, don’t book this hotel.

I come here every 15 days, but this visit was terrible. I arrived in my electric vehicle and asked for a socket to charge it. The front desk manager said they’d arrange one, then after check-in I was asked to pay extra, and they refused to give me a receipt. That should have been explained before check-in. Worst hotel service I’ve experienced, especially as a regular customer.
