The Royal Suite seemed to be the most expensive room, but it smelled bad, and the bathroom and window panes were dirty. There wasn't a window that could be opened for fresh air. In January, the water was only mildly warm in the morning, nowhere near hot enough for a winter bath. Reception said that was how the solar heating worked. I was so disappointed that, for the first time, I felt compelled to write a review. The room wasn't worth its price.

Chopra Residency, Gandhi Square, is in a lively, safe neighborhood, with beaches, restaurants, and the main attractions within walking distance. The location also makes it easy to get around the city, and the hotel has good restaurant facilities. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with modern amenities. Staff were ready to help, and there's a grocery store. A great architectural destination for visitors to Plantation.

We stayed at Chopra Residency yesterday, and the experience was awful. Food wasn't served on time, and both its quality and quantity were very poor. Housekeeping was poor too: the washrooms weren't clean, and the taps didn't work. The room service was bad, as was the food. For the tariff, my experience was very disappointing. Ashish Thakur is the manager, and I ask the management to look into his hospitality. He can't manage the property, and tourists are annoyed.

There was plenty of parking, and the location is good. The in-house bar has live music, and there's dining as well. I started in a Super Deluxe room, which was spacious and clean, with basic amenities including toiletries and even an iron. Well recommended in the Hamirpur region.

Our team has stayed here for the last three years, and the maintenance and desk response have steadily got worse. Tonight, it took three hours to fix the issues we raised. Mr Milap, whose name I got over the phone, wasn't cooperative, and others were somewhat the same. The poor upkeep and almost no proper response from the desk officer are the biggest concerns. I hope the MD takes note.
