The wooden room interiors were lovely and gave the place a warm Kashmiri feel. The staff welcomed us warmly, and there was a cozy garden to relax in. Swiss Hotel Kashmir is also within walking distance of Dal Lake. We had a wonderful stay.

After driving from Uttar Pradesh in our own car, we had a pleasant family stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and felt like good value. Being in the city center made getting around easy. I'd recommend it for families.

Swiss Hotel in Kashmir is a gem. The rooms are well equipped, with lots of windows that open to the fresh air from Shankarachray Hill. There's free hotel parking, great Wi-Fi, a nice breakfast, and a good shower. We enjoyed lovely time with friends in the garden, and the staff speak English. It's close to Dal Lake, the central square, and Nehru Park, which is a one-minute walk away. The owner, Rouf, is a delightful host who runs several hotels and can arrange group accommodation and dinner. Highly recommended.
