If you're looking for Jain or pure vegetarian food, this is the place. Chef Mudasir, mehraj, Ahmed, and the whole housekeeping team deserve a special mention. They're wonderful people and showed such good hospitality. I loved the service and stay here, and all the effort the team put in. Thank you so much, see you soon.

The food is all vegetarian, with really good Jain options, and the staff made us feel very well looked after. Raju and Sajad were especially accommodating and helpful. I’d recommend giving this hotel a try, especially if you’re looking for Jain food.

Hotel Mamta felt like a great fit for anyone eating Jain food, since the hotel is entirely vegetarian. The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay, especially Mr. Mehrat, who helped us the whole time. We had a very pleasant visit and would suggest trying it if you come to Kashmir.

Chef Mudasir’s thali was the highlight for me. It was a delicious, well-balanced Gujarati meal that tasted just like home cooking, and the vegetarian food here is the best I’ve found in the area. Rajesh was very professional, while Sajad and Waseem were attentive and welcoming. Everyone seemed focused on making guests comfortable, and I’d happily come back.

The bathrooms could use attention because sounds carry outside, and the room doors need fixing. Otherwise, the rooms are clean, spacious, and good, and the location is convenient for Dal lake. The in-house restaurant does nice vegetarian and Gujarati food. Raju and Sajad in particular treated us like family and gave us great service.
