Amrit Bhawan

The calm, homely atmosphere made for a very pleasant and satisfying stay at Amrit Bhawan. The setting was peaceful, with the Ganga nearby, and felt well suited to meditation and rest. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were welcoming, polite, and quick to help, while the simple, hygienic, delicious food added to the experience. It's a lovely place in Haridwar for a pilgrimage or a relaxing visit, and I'd highly recommend it.

This heritage home turned hotel has a lovely garden full of flowers, a private ghat for bathing and prayers, and great food and service from all the staff. It's in the heart of Haridwar, right on the banks of the Ganges river. I'd suggest two improvements: shower curtains in the bathrooms to stop water splashing, and a parking arrangement. I had a rental car, and although I was first told it could park in the compound, they later changed their minds, leaving my driver to find parking. There are a few things to fix, but I still give it 5 stars for the location, service, food, and facilities.

Prices are premium, but I felt the experience justified the cost. Amrit Bhawan has immaculate rooms, luxurious facilities, and a clean private Ganga ghat for in-house guests, in a serene riverside setting with top-class amenities. Walk-in guests need a prior reservation, as the property mainly focuses on resident guests. A standout choice in Haridwar for comfort and tranquility.

Birdsong, the sound of Ganga Maa, sattvic food, and the nature around Amrit Bhawan gave the place a peaceful, serene feeling. It feels like home, with a warm atmosphere and cordial staff. Sandeep ji deserves a special mention for his efforts, as does the chef who serves kind food. If you want a home-like stay near nature and peace, this is a place to visit. Thank you.
