Hotel Anand Harkipauri by Perfect Stayz

I only stayed from noon until 3, and that was enough. The room was tiny and in awful condition, the washroom was dirty, its latch was broken, and there were spider webs in the corners. I was travelling with my mom, and we both felt quite suffocated, especially her. I’d booked Hotel Umra Grace through Booking.com, but when I arrived they said all rooms were full and sent me to Hotel Anand, which belongs to Perfect Stays. The staff didn’t seem properly trained, and the power kept cutting out. The hotel’s generator wasn’t working that day. Worst hotel.

The only decent thing is the location. Our room and bathroom were cramped and dirty, the bathroom had no latch, and there’s no lift. Room service was poor too. When we arrived, the manager was asleep and left us waiting unattended for almost an hour. At checkout, manager Shubham took my phone and rated the hotel himself on the goibibo app. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

The staff were good, and their tea was the best thing about the hotel. But the place smells bad, the bed linen and rooms weren’t clean, and there were rats running around. The bathrooms were just okay. I wouldn’t stay here with family if hygiene matters to you.

I could probably manage a night or two here alone, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a comfortable stay. The location isn’t good, especially for families arriving on a traveller bus, and there are rats in the ceiling and floor. The room photos don’t match reality. There’s hardly any space around the toilet or basin, and there’s no toilet shower. The AC is noisy at night, service is poor, and they don’t replace dirty sheets. There was also a strong smell of phenyl or varnish, I couldn’t tell which.
