Hotel Ganga Darshan

We loved waking up to the calm river view and the sound of flowing water at this Ganga-facing property near Har Ki Pauri. The room's Ganga Darshan was the highlight of our visit, and the balcony overlooking the river added a special touch. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the polite, helpful staff made sure we had what we needed. The short walk to the ghat made it easy to attend the evening Ganga Aarti, which we watched up close and will always remember as a divine experience. Food was simple but tasty, and the peaceful atmosphere suited a family spiritual getaway. Highly recommended if you want a direct Ganga view and easy access to Har Ki Pauri.

The room wasn't very good, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. When we ordered food through the staff, they bought it from outside: the bill was 1100, but they added commission and charged us 1400, then wanted another 200 to deliver it to the room. There were no spoons, and the quantity was tiny. When we complained to the restaurant about the high prices and small portions, they told us about the commission, and then the boy ran off. It was the worst experience of my life.

The receptionist was very rude and mannerless, and I feel cheated. I booked two days for 4000, but they later took 8000 for the same two days. Don't go.

The rooms are newly built, neat, and clean, and the staff are very supportive. It's a great experience, with the location just a few steps from har ki pauri.
