Hotel Center Point

For ₹1043, this was a very disappointing stay. The AC didn’t work properly, and they didn’t give us the remote. The washroom was dirty, with water across the floor, and the pillows and bedsheett were uncomfortable and not clean. The lift was out of order too. I wouldn’t choose this place again.

The location made shopping and getting around the city easy, and the hotel was budget-friendly and good value. Staff were polite, helpful, and quick at check-in and check-out. My room was clean and comfortable for a short stay. The interiors could use a bit of updating, but I had a pleasant, comfortable visit.

I rarely leave a negative review, but this stay was genuinely disappointing. The room didn’t have a telephone, which made it hard to reach reception, housekeeping, or room service when I needed help. Cleanliness was poor too: the sheets and pillow covers had visible stains, and the blanket cover was dirty. I asked staff to replace them. They took away the blanket and cover, then returned the blanket without any cover at all. When I asked why, they said the hotel doesn’t provide blanket covers, even though the blanket had one when I checked in. The cleanliness, service, and basic room facilities all fell far below what I expected. I hope management takes this seriously and improves its standards. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We arrived at Centre Point Hotel around 8:15 PM on 06/04/2026 after a long, exhausting trip. One of us had a fever and a cold, so we’d specifically booked a non-AC room to rest. The power went out as soon as we entered. At the front office, staff, including the accountant, casually said there was a local outage and their generator wasn’t working. They admitted they hadn’t checked it beforehand. They couldn’t say when the power would return, only that it might take 2 hours, and even suggested we go out and hope it was back by the time we returned. We were tired, but went out for food around 9 PM and came back at 11:30 PM. There was still no power. We told them we’d leave, but they tried to persuade us to stay, saying they were checking the generator. One staff member made the insulting, unprofessional remark, “Maybe this happened because you people came.” Just as we were about to go, the power came back briefly, so we waited again. It went out once more within 10 minutes, and we decided to leave. Instead of apologizing, the accountant rudely told us, “It’s better people like you vacate.” Getting the refund was just as frustrating. They promised it within 24 hours, but it didn’t come. We called repeatedly the next day and the day after, getting vague replies each time. After several follow-ups they transferred only part of the amount, saying the rest would come from another account. They only completed the full refund after we insisted and asked for proof. It was clear to us that they acted only after repeated calls and pressure. Poor maintenance, no sense of responsibility, rude behavior, and terrible customer service. If you’re planning to stay here, I strongly suggest reconsidering. If something goes wrong, leave right away and keep following up for your refund, because they won’t process it unless you keep pushing.
