I'm travelling with my family of three on a package from AJAY MODI, and this hotel has been awful. They gave us a mattress on the dirty floor instead of a bed for two. The washroom is filthy and smells disgusting, there are no soaps or other toiletries, and the room has mosquitoes, insects, lizards and more. The AC doesn't work properly either. We booked a CHAAR DHAM YATRA covering haridwar, barkot, yamunotri, Gangotri, kedarnath and badrinath, but the hotels haven't provided facilities or amenities worth the large amount charged. At WHITE HOUSE near Kedarnath, they gave us neither food nor a bed, and with no manager to sort it out, we waited outside for 1.5 hours in the extreme cold. As a customer, I'd advise against taking a package from AJAY MODI. It's a waste of money, and I hope nobody else has this horrible experience on a pure place like CHAAR DHAM.

We're currently staying with our family of three at HOTEL SHIVALAYA, room no 3 on the ground floor, and it's been a horrible experience. The room is messy and dirty, with stains on the bedsheets, insects, lizards and mosquitoes. There wasn't a single complimentary water bottle, and we only got two towels for three people until we complained. They didn't provide soap, shampoo or other toiletries either. The tap and shower only gave cold water, no hot water for bathing. When we asked to change rooms after seeing this one, receptionist Miss UPASANA was very rude and said every other room was booked, though it wasn't fully packed or sold out. This was part of an AJAY MODI package, which is said to be famous for its facilities and amenities, but the reality was the worst. We took it for CHAAR DHAM YATRA, and the experience at all the hotels from Haridwar to Badrinath was traumatic. At the hotel near WHITE HOUSE in kedarnath there was no bed arrangement, food or water for us; there was no manager, and we waited outside for 1.5 hours. The amenities everywhere weren't worth the money charged. As a customer, I advise others not to take a travel package from AJAY MODI. It isn't worth it, and it was a terrible experience in a pure place like CHAAR DHAM.
