OYO 10592 Hotel Ganga Palace

We booked through Goibibo and paid the full amount after receiving confirmation. But when we arrived, the hotel said it was fully booked and sold out. We then had to scramble at night to find somewhere for the whole family to stay. They may do the same to you, so please don't book this place if you're traveling with family. They made my family suffer.

The staff were cooperative and good, which was the one positive. The rest of the hotel was very dirty and poorly maintained, including the rooms and bathrooms. There was dust everywhere and garbage in the corridor. The electrical sockets didn't work, and the lift was very noisy.

I was quoted one price online and charged a completely different amount when I arrived. There was no clear communication, no accountability, and the on-site staff didn't know how to handle it. That sort of bait-and-switch is unacceptable. For a company of this size, I can't understand how the service is allowed to be this poor. I'm extremely disappointed and would give zero stars if I could. I won't use OYO again or recommend it to anyone. Please look into this and improve things, because the service is far below an acceptable standard.

We booked three rooms for our group, and all of them had the same problems during our day in Haridwar. The linens were unclean, the toilets were dirty and one was clogged before we even used it, and the toilet seats were broken. A bathroom door was partly broken, and both the rooms and toilets smelled bad and damp. We had to call service personnel about the clogged toilet. This is supposedly an OYO managed property, but the site's 4.7 rating seems fake, and I couldn't post a negative rating there. The only good thing was parking for our vehicle. I've lost faith in the brand.
