Rio Grand A Premium Hotel

The staff were really good, and the hotel was well maintained. We had a very good stay.

The room itself was the only good part of this stay. There was no parking, and even getting in was awkward because there wasn’t a clear entrance. They didn’t provide towels or water in the room, and there was no hot water. The receptionist wouldn’t answer. Breakfast choices were limited, and we had to ask repeatedly for some dishes. People were left waiting in the dining area, which had neither AC nor fans. This was my worst experience in Haridwar. The management should improve things, especially in a religious destination. The location was only average.

I paid for a deluxe room and got one with so little space that you could barely breathe. The hotel has no ambience at all, and the staff and property were both pathetic. They know how to fool customers, and I was a victim. I’m warning everyone not to book this place.

Breakfast was terrible: the idli sambar was awful, the sambar tasted like dal mixed with water, and the bread was raw and not properly toasted. There was no sugar in the tea or coffee either. The food overall was horrible and tasteless. We also found the room walls very dirty, with someone’s spit on them. A Jain family of 15 was staying with us, and the hotel fooled us by giving us Jain food too. It was a horrible experience. I suggest you avoid this hotel, and I even told the manager to close it.
