Hoysala Village Resort

The setting is so calm and green, with a well-kept pool that makes a nice break from city life. Hoysala Village Resort, Hassan has spacious, clean rooms, and the traditional Karnataka architecture gives the property a peaceful village feel. Staff were courteous and attentive, and the food had delicious local flavors. We’d happily come back. A great choice for families, corporate outings, or a weekend away in Hassan.

We stayed for a day and found the staff welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable about local sights. They helped sort out issues and plan an itinerary. Parking is available both inside and outside, and you can wash your vehicle there too. The location between haleebidu and belur makes it easy to reach both historic sites and nearby attractions. Check-in and checkout had a sweet, welcoming ceremony, and the rooms are very spacious. But the toiletries, WC, and blankets are outdated and badly need replacing for a place charging premium rates. Lunch wasn’t good, so we skipped dinner. Breakfast was decent, with plenty of options. The food and beverage side needs a major upgrade.

Ashwini and Manjula were amazing, and the whole staff were polite, friendly, and supportive. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the property showed real attention to detail. The fresh, tasty food made the stay even better. At Hoysala Resort, Hassan, the architecture, music, and atmosphere gave us the peaceful, royal feeling of stepping into the Hoysala dynasty era. It was a memorable visit, and I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Hassan.

The meals were wonderful, and the restaurant could seat plenty of people without making us feel crowded. The staff were attentive but gave us room to enjoy each meal at our own pace. Please thank the chef, the table staff, and everyone else we met for making the stay so smooth. Ms. Ashwini, Mr. Sharma, the Resort Manager, and the HVR team were sincere, cheerful, and attentive to every detail. We left refreshed and inspired, and already look forward to coming back to Hoysala Village Resort. The Sai Baba Temple offered a peaceful place to reflect, and I found it grounding. I also admired the resort’s commitment to sustainability while preserving comfort and luxury. Its traditional architecture, tranquil courtyards, and old-world design felt like a journey to a more gracious era. You’ve created something special in Hassan, Mr. Alva.
