The staff were friendly, and there is parking in front of the hotel. The rooms seemed good compared with other hotels, but they need a deeper clean. During load shedding, backup power only covered the fans and one light. Since it was winter I didn't need the fan or AC, but many TVs weren't usable because their power buttons were broken. The lift was still under construction.
Good place to stay, with good service, staff, and atmosphere.
We reached the hotel at 8:29 at night as a couple, and the manager made a big issue of our behavior. He sent us to a xerox shop to download and print our marriage certificate. Even after we followed that process, he asked my wife very inappropriate questions. We are a class one government officer and his wife, and considered calling the city DYSP. To avoid making it a bigger issue, we asked for the owner's phone number, but the manager refused to give it. After calling police stations, we found out that Mr Om Ninwani is the owner, but he gave us no information about the matter. The manager on the night of 21/9/24 is responsible for this. My wife is filing an FIR against him for his rude behavior toward a respected class one government officer.
The rooms were clean and pleasant, and they supplied fresh towels and bath essentials. Dev palace Lodging turned out to be a comfortable, affordable place, more than I expected from a lodging in Hingoli. I'd recommend it for a night or two.
Very clean, and the suites are great value for the price.
