Hotel Sai Suraj Palace

I booked one room for four nights through EasyMy Trip Apps and paid online before arriving in Shird with my family. At check-in, the staff showed us rooms that were very dirty, with a horrible bathroom. When I asked for a clean room, they sent me to speak with the owner, who wanted extra money for one in better condition. I had no other option and paid the additional 3000 Rs he demanded. This felt like a money-making business. I wouldn't recommend booking here. Other good hotels are easily available at the same price.

It was value for money, though cleanliness could be improved. I could hear termites eating the wooden beds, a bathroom window was broken, and the fan speed regulator didn't work. Still, I'd say it was worth the price.

Apart from the location, this hotel was terrible. We only asked for hot water for showers, but a staff member was so rude that he nearly physically assaulted us. We felt awful. We contacted the owner, who was polite but didn't do anything.

There were four of us, including a child, and the cleanliness was so bad it felt like living on the street. Staff treated us badly, and there was nobody available to hear our complaints. The room had no phone charging socket, the washroom had no flush button, and there was no hand-washing facility. This place was horrible. Better to pay an extra 100-200 Rs and stay elsewhere.
