Hotel Pride Inn Shirdi

For an affordable Shirdi trip, this was really good value. The room was spacious for the price, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is right beside prasadalay parking and close to Sai Baba Temple, which made early morning and evening darshan easy. Staff were helpful and friendly, especially Rahul at the front desk, who shared tips about local transport and darshan timings. A good budget option for pilgrims or a short stay. I’d recommend it if you’re watching your spending.

The receptionists were so nice, and our room was clean. They arranged a van for us to do Dharshan, and the temple is only about five minutes away. You can also book a vehicle here to go to trimbakeshwar. Everything was good, and you can come and enjoy your stay.

The old building was a terrible place to stay: broken windows, dirty rooms, unhygienic bedsheets, an AC that didn’t work, and no hot or drinking water. It felt like the whole place was just surviving. There are two buildings on the same premises, and the new building staff were arrogant too. When someone parked in front of our bus, we waited nearly an hour to get it out of the parking. Nobody on staff seemed willing to sort it out. The manager’s response was, “Adjust, you’ll have to wait half an hour or an hour for the car to be moved.” Our trip schedule was thrown off, and we couldn’t finish the trip as planned.

The evening room we got for two hours cost ₹600, but it had no AC, poor amenities, and a disconnected landline. It was essentially abandoned. The key said 312, though the room itself wasn’t numbered 312. I guess they set aside that room for hourly stays, and charge randomly depending on the customer’s needs and urgency. Receptionist Shami/Rahul was dismissive and rude when we raised this. At checkout, staff also tried to charge ₹80 for a ₹50 item and doubled our tea order; correcting the bill took an argument. The room was only superficially cleaned, with used bedcovers and hair in the washroom. Check-in seemed fine at first, but the rest of my stay at Pride Inn, Shirdi was unacceptable. Paying guests should get the promised amenities regardless of stay length. I hope management fixes the room maintenance and staff training.
