Rocky speaks English well and was helpful with bookings, getting around, and recommendations, without trying to sell us anything. The staff were great, and the rooms were the cleanest we stayed in during India. We also had hot water, good wifi, AC, and a small kitchen. It's in a great spot, about 50m from the temple. My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Rocky Guesthouse. They even let us shower and use the bathroom after checkout before we got on our night bus. We'd highly recommend it.

Rocky made me feel at home from the minute I arrived. He was always happy to offer directions, suggestions, or just have a friendly chat, and he treated me more like a friend than a guest. The guest house itself is a peaceful spot, well placed for exploring Hampi while still feeling calm and relaxing. My room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully kept, with what I needed for a pleasant stay. The place has an authentic, warm feel that suits Hampi so well. Rocky's kindness, generosity, and care really made the experience a highlight of my time here. If you're after comfort, an authentic atmosphere, and heartfelt hospitality, I can't recommend Rocky Guest House enough. I'd gladly stay again on my next trip to Hampi.

The room was clean, well located, and close enough that we could walk to everything we needed. The owner was very kind and helped us arrange a taxi. By chance, we also ended up at a restaurant he owns, or perhaps works at, and he greeted us with a big smile.

We only stayed briefly, but had a wonderful time. Rakesh Singh arranged an auto and a guide for our sightseeing, even on short notice during peak season. The room was small, though clean and comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again next time.
