Gopi and his family were so welcoming, with useful local tips and help arranging transport. The home-cooked meals were a highlight: we especially loved the local-style chicken thalis on banana leaves and fresh banana pancakes for breakfast. Meals came on time, and there were vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The rooms were clean and well kept, with hot water and WiFi, and the whole place had friendly, positive vibes. For the food, service, and homely feel, it was great value. Highly recommend it for an affordable, authentic stay in Hampi.

Everything was super clean, and I really enjoyed my two nights in this small village. The owner was kind, the AC worked well, and both the comfortable bed and hot shower were great.

The owner and family are really friendly, and they can arrange an auto with a very nice, friendly driver. The room was clean, and the place is near Hampi bazar. Go for it, don't miss it.

The room was neat and clean, and the location is decent, close to the temples. The surrounding village view wasn't great, though, and we found Hampi expensive. Since there aren't many alternatives, it felt like everyone was overcharging. Compared with Sanapur and Hospet, Hampi seemed more expensive, even though the sights on the Hampi side are close to this homestay. I'd suggest considering Hospet or Sanapur instead if money is a concern. Vasudev sir was kind and helpful, gave us guidance for exploring, and helped with vehicle rentals. But we were charged more than the agreed amount after booking directly, even though we had shared chat screenshots as reference. The tuk-tuk driver they referred us to was also expensive and charged above the usual day rate for exploring Hampi. They do offer homemade food, but for some reason it wasn't provided to us, and we weren't given any discount. They also charged extra for bottled water rather than providing basic drinking water. Activities like a bonfire or barbecue weren't available. If budget isn't an issue, Hampi could still work for you, but otherwise think it through first.
