Lohit Homestay Hampi

We had a nice stay at lohit homestay, though some of the amenities could be better. The family were very well behaved, and the owner was cooperative and knew a lot about hampi. The place felt safe for women, with the owner and family living downstairs and locking the gate at night. It's near the hampi ruins, especially virupaksha temple, Swiggy is available, and they can arrange an auto rikshaw and guide if needed. There's a bathroom heater and RO drinking water too. The bedsheets, blanket, and floor mats were old and worn, though washed. Soap and other toilet essentials, including a bucket, weren't provided, which may have been an oversight.

There are tea shops and hotels nearby, an ATM in the same building, free RO water, hot water, and access to a private terrace with a great view. Our group of 6 Riders from Pune had a really pleasant stay at Lohit Homestay, Hampi. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable, and the property was well maintained. Prashanth Sir was a friendly, humble owner and always willing to help. His local guidance made the stay even easier. Prashant Sir tumba tumba thanks.

The hosts made me feel at home with how warm and welcoming they were. My room was clean and cozy, and the homestay was well placed for visiting Hampi's historic sites. A lovely stay and one of the highlights of my trip.

We were six adults and two toddlers, and all of us were comfortable at Lohit Homestay. The owner’s family live on the ground floor and were so friendly and ready to help. They arranged all our transport to the monuments, which made sightseeing easy and stress-free. There are lots of nearby restaurants and plenty of food choices. The personal care made the place feel like home. I highly recommend it for a warm, comfortable stay.
