Hotel Garden Court

The service overall fell short, and the washrooms were unhygienic and poorly maintained, causing guests inconvenience. We were also told at booking that the stage would be inside the palace interior, but on the event day it had been set up outside. That felt misleading and unprofessional. I hope management takes the feedback seriously and improves both its commitments and hygiene standards.

The online pictures and glowing reviews made Garden Court Hotel in Hoshiarpur look appealing, but our stay was nowhere near that. The advertised gym was actually private and unavailable to guests, so showing it among hotel amenities felt deceptive. I accidentally left my yoga mat bag in the wardrobe behind a blanket. When I called, they said another guest had the room and they'd check after that guest left. That makes no sense to me: a decent hotel cleans thoroughly between guests. Either they were careless or lying, or they simply didn't want to return it. We'd left our own coffee, milk powder, and ketchup pouches on the table, nothing from the hotel, and those were gone when we came back. Housekeeping clearly took them, yet they somehow hadn't noticed a whole bag in the wardrobe? It all seemed shady. I wouldn't trust this place again. If you value transparency, service, and your belongings' safety, look elsewhere. A huge letdown.

It's neither great nor bad, but fine for regular travellers.

The food was delicious and healthy, and the staff were cooperative with prompt service. A complete hospitality package, especially for weddings and large gatherings.
