I’ve stayed at Grand Inn for two years, mainly because it’s conveniently located and the staff have treated me very well. This latest stay has been a big disappointment. The kitchen wasn’t working for my entire stay, so I had to depend on outside food. Then the hotel suddenly banned outside food without warning, even though I’d already bought some. The owner also said they wouldn’t provide plates or utensils for it. Staff have always been accommodating, but this new policy and poor communication came from the owner, who was inflexible. With the kitchen out of service and no basic help offered, my stay was much worse. I hope they fix the facilities and communicate changes to guests in advance.

Hard to find, not clean, and the staff weren’t nice. Visitors aren’t allowed either. Worst hotel I’ve seen.

The service was great, and everyone was kind and gentle. The rooms were tidy too. The hotel is quite far from the main street, though, and I wouldn’t recommend it for a woman traveling alone.
