Cubix Hotel

Dead cockroaches, cobwebs, a dirty toilet with yellow stains, broken switches, and grimy surfaces. The rooms are a nightmare. I'm not sure how this so-called hotel can keep selling rooms in such a state, or whether the owner even knows how bad the property is. The government should inspect it for hygiene and close it until the problems are addressed. What a joke.

Most surprising of all, every room's washroom is locked, and you have to call reception to have it opened with a master key. The DND button, tea kettle, and electric sockets didn't work either. When I asked for a duplicate key card, the receptionist rudely said I had to pay 500 rupees. After paying a star-category rate, why charge for a second room key? He said management had told them to do it. The service was pathetic, the staff sleepy, and the behavior rude. Rooms aren't maintained properly. I expected Cubix Hotel in Hubli to make an impression like a five-star hotel, even though it isn't one. It's not even one star. Lodges are much better. I'll never recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is right by the road and has all the amenities. Staff were helpful, service was quick, and the price was reasonable.

The rooms are spacious but weren't cleaned, and the bed linen was dirty. Mosquitoes were flying around the breakfast. When I pointed it out, the restaurant staff laughed. The property is well built but very poorly managed. None of the staff seemed trained. They sat in groups in the reception and restaurant watching reels on their phones with the sound turned up. I was there on a business trip.
